There are four primary attachment styles:

  • Secure attachment

  • Anxious attachment

  • Avoidant - Dismissive attachment

  • Avoidant - Fearful attachment

Those with a secure attachment style tend to have more satisfying and fulfilling relationships than those with other attachment styles.

WHAT’S YOUR LOVE LANGUAGE

A love language identifies the specific way you prefer to express and receive love in a relationship.

There are five common love languages:

  • Words of Affirmation (verbal compliments, appreciation)

  • Acts of Service (doing helpful things)

  • Receiving Gifts (thoughtful presents)

  • Quality Time (undivided attention)

  • Physical Touch (affectionate contact).
